![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Your favorite Archangel is now... a bald eagle? I've had nice, long hair for years. Several years back, my scalp really started to get screwy and I balded a little bit. I'm goiong to see drs to see if I have a condition with my scalp and with treatment, I'm hoping it'll all start growing healthily. For now--marking the 1st time in my adult life--I shaved my head. Seriously. I'm letting it all grow back out but for now, I know I looked kinda gross (think of that blond dude in Rocky Horror Picture Show) so it just made sense to buzz itr off, down to the skin. I'll keep my avatar image and in a few years, I'm hoping it'll all grow back properly. Still, for now, I'm bald I'm posting a pic of my hair at its longest and a pic taken a few hours ago. Ugh I'm going to hell when I die.????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/the-break-room/737803-your-favorite-archangel-now-bald-eagle.html Before: ![]() After: (Ignore the date stamped on it) |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You and me both lol I visited a dr, just to get a check-up/med refills, and while in the restroom, I noticed how much light shined off my head. I've seriously had many dreams of going bald. A few hours ago, I decided to just buzz it. There are more pics of the scalp right before the buzz. I'll put 'em in here once I get them online. I hate it. lol My niece (bottom pic) even hates it. I can't recall the name of it but there is a disorder that starts with an a... I've heard of ppl getting treated with shots & their hair grew back. I'm not 30 just yet and my disease (NF2) has no link to hair loss. Eh... it just came down to keeping what thin hair I had or shaving it, working on treatment, and letting it grow back properly.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I repped ya -- I forgot the name of the disorder. Thanks for reminding me ![]() Healthy hair, thy say, grows about 6" a year. I'm not very healthy so it grows a it slower. A dr once told me that my disease sometimes thins hair out but I can't find a link between hair loss and my disease anywhere online. (FYI My disease screws with my nervous system & causes tumor growth just about anywhere it wants. It's non-contageous). I was told shots in the scalp would do the trick. I really dunno. I'm looking further into it. I started growing it out at 13. It was VERY long by around 18 but I but a lotta it off. From then to around 23 or so, it was SUPER long. I cut it a bit a few years back and shaved it yesterday. I'm hoping to be shoulder-length in about a year or 16 months.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think the Nick Oliveri look is the best. He's bit of a nutty mothereffer... but not sure you're not. (Ok so I am sure you are) I am always either growing out my hair or shaving it short... I'm currently in the awkward growing it our phase where it's curly and too short to tie away. I look like eraserhead.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I had a buddy who'd grow his hair out shoulder-length, cut it during summer, grow it out, cut it... I envied him I shaved my head at 12 & let it grow out since. That pic at the top? My hair easily would have touched my knees but I cut about 6" or so off a few years earlier. And yes, I'm insane.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | lol That pic had loooooooong hair but I think it might have been a bit longer by its eventual cut. It was about 3" below my belly button in that pic. Maybe it wouldn't have touched my knees but it at the least would have been 4-6 inches below my ass |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hair today, gone tomorrow. Think you look better bald tbh, but that's just me. I've gone down this route a couple of times, had hair halfway down my back in '02, went bald. The again this year, had shoulder length hair and got it shaved off. So not completely shocked, pretty common here come to think of it, the shaving off part, growing it out is pretty much frowned upon.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I almost would change my username but eh, I'm still the Archangel Some guys hate long hair and so embrace it. When ya grow up to Ozzy, Dio, pre-Lord Metallica, and Guns n' Roses (just to name a few), long hair seems kinda like an obvious choice. I haven't always been deaf |
