When did this happen and how do you use it? Is it going to replace the rep bar or work in conjunction with it?

Just curious.

Edit...NM, it disappeared again.

Second edit...hasn't gone...just moved to the bottom of the post. lol...WTF??

Thrid edit. disappeared again...lmao. I can't keep up

So will it show up in some sort of stat somewhere in the side bar? I seen forums that use this sort of system and they usually have so and so has been thanked so many times - or something like that. You're the second person I've liked and thanked so far.

I like that good posters will see the appreciation for said good posts.

I hope the rep bar stays though.

Nah...looks okay the way it is atm. Didn't like it in the side bar where it first was though. That looked kind of awkward. Looked even funnier directly under the post as well. The extra box at the bottom under the post looks fine though and I have seen that on numerous forums - so I guess I am used to seeing it like that.

Edit: It actually doesn't look half bad the way it is this very moment actually, which is a bit of a back flip on my part...but hey. LOL..it changed again.

LOL...you should take screen shots of the different set-ups and let the people vote RJ

Under where it is looks like a good placement but maybe remove the double black line so its a single black line.

I like this feature, I've already put it to good use but it still seems out of place to me though imo.

From what I understand, the Like and Thanks options are integrated with the reputation points system (Not confirmed), so in essence you would get a point per like / thanks. As for dislike, I would assume (not confirmed) that you would get a negative single point of reputation.

Please keep in mind that actual reputation points / comments are not visible to other members (Other than the Thanks page stats) and that the awarded reputation gems require several hundreds of points to be effective either way (If points are actually effected).

While I can see the potential abuse of having + / - single point values added to the reputation system, like anything, there will be ethical and unethical uses for them.

1 point (if this is accurate) likes / dislikes really isn't that big of a deal in the big picture of things. And it's nice when people use the system ethically to reward those that contributed to the community.

The above is just what I've gathered so far on the topic from management and may or may not be fully accurate. Just figured I would try to shed a little light on the topic.

similar to the HIDE HACK by I believe it was PSONIC VISIONS or something like that
