Editing a Video Clip, make it brighter...

I have this mpeg Video Clip but I guess my lighting wasnt right, as usual is there an ez to use free program that can add more brightness to it, any recommendations?

I guess it would also be nice if the program was able to chop mpeg clips up as well, if possible, I'm new to this kinda stuff...

Thanks,

Mike

One other little ?, it saves the files as .wmv, is there a way to save them as .mpg, I used to be able to simple rename a file type in Win. 98 but its not as obvious with XP, not even sure if it would work...

I did download a trial Converter just incase.

Thanks,

Mike

yes.. unless imusing an outdated version (unlikely cause i update like nuts), during the very last step of saving the video.. you can choose how much compression you want...to determine the overall file size (not zipped though..just compressed).
choosing that will let wmm determine which format to save it as.
