This is one of those "I remember when" things

I remember when milk was delivered in glass bottles
to your house and put into your milkbox

I remember when President John F Kennedy was shot
They announced it over the PA at school and sent us home

I remember when the Beatles played live on the Ed Sullivan's Show

I remember watching the Astronauts land on the moon
I watched it live on black and white TV

I remember when Pac-Man was born, (1980)

I remember when I got my first Rubik's cube, (around 81)

I remember my teacher explaining to the class that the space shuttle just blew up (86)

Remember the S&L scandals of the 80's.

Remember the Sapce shuttle (Challenger, I think) blew up (I was in my college dorm making out with some chick before class).

Remember "Billy Beer" and Jimmy's peanuts!

The Iranian Hostage situation, Nixon, the horror of the '72 Olympics (just a kid at the time), and big-time Danny Terrio disco scraze of the 70's. Sadly, and Kurt Cobain.

gray hair showing up everywhere
your teeth are store bought
and you need a lube job just to get moving in the morning

I wouldn't trade it for anything
I love the geezer experience

It had a 10 speed duelplex trans (two gear shifts, two trans)

-Television stations signed off at midnight, a little later on weekends.
-The ending of the Vietnam War
-Pistol Pete
-Secretariat winning the Tripple Crown
-Moon Rocks Candy
-A certain girl, but for the life of me I can't remember her name!

For some reason the strongest memory I have is of the Berlin Wall coming down, which was only around 13 years ago? I guess being born in the 60's at the height of the Cold War created a sense fright in what the 'Iron Curtain' stood for? I was just astonished that this could even take place!

I remember playing "Detroit Rock City" over and over again when it came out on LP. That Halloween I nailed boards to the bottom of my only pair of shoes and had my brother give me a perm so I would look like Ace.

I also remember going to watch "The Warriors" back to back when I was a teenager.

So bigboss wasn't the only weird kid.
