 | I would be more active in chat but it would be nice to actually see it more "active" in terms of actual chat. I love that it's there but many times I've gone in, seen what looks like 10-15 people or more supposedly in chat, yet no one is there to greet new comers and the convo is non-existent. Not for my sake, but it would be nice to have people actually ready to chat in the "chat" room. Just my observation.. |

| Just my observation.. not placing any blame anywhere. And yeah, I have left quickly.. normally because I'm on the clock and taking a short break, have to get back to work. If I come in and say something and don't get any reply in a minute or two (not just from you or NPQueen), I'll usually leave if the chat doesn't seem active. I don't expect it to be active all the time but when I see a group of names in chat and no one chatting, I expect it would be even more frustrating for someone new to the chat or to the forum.. I often go to chat if I have a specific question hoping someone has a ready answer. At least we have people in chat here.. many forums never have anyone in chat.. ever.

| I've been chatting a couple of times this month and have met some nice people there like Moderator mellowmasher, meongtae, etc. It's fun actually talking about everything under the sun, especially about domains. Sometimes a (new) chatter pops in with a question or a problem and you get to help him/her instantly; like in my case, I donated $60 to someone I just met during my first time in the chatroom, for no reason at all other than to help someone in need. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=561828 Chatrooms are not only for socializing after all.  | I'm in chat like 10 hours a day and I must admit I love it more than the forums It's like a small family over on chat, we use each others services, we have Hivefor designs, Jack and Co for Hosting, Adda for directory submissions, iowa for everything lol Its great everyone should come and get involved! Its also a great way to advertiseyour domains/services (1 per hour ). |
