I haven't watched tv news for over a decade now. I usually choose to read my news on the net from AP and Reuters cuz it's not over analyzed, spun....
Anyways, today i got to MSN and find the order of the headlines very interesting.

Israeli newspaper publishes Obama's private prayer
Why E.R. wait times are bad
Cranky man shoots mower
String of blasts kills at least 29 in Indian city
Senate approves sweeping housing-rescue bill
Feds seize two failed banks
i'm no journalist or anything, but i'd think the "Feds seize two failed banks" should be bold and at the top.... it's like lets pad the bad news around junk
I know so much of getting any accurate news that really matters from any form of news media.
Yeah the Feds seize 2 failed banks is to say - that bank robbers rob empty bank - bank robbery plan was in works for 10 years. DUH!
And as far as the cranky man, just read that in the Los Angeles Times newspaper today. It was buried in the way back. If the guy is convicted he will get 6 years and $11k fine. And the gun charge is a felony. The cranky man is 56 years old. I dont know but sounds like a true red neck story.
I rarely watch the tv news, only when I stumble into another person watching it.
The Internet provides infinite news from every angle - all at your fingertips. S
So much for being programmed by an agenda of fear and silly entertainment.
Yes the 2 banks failing should be the top headline underlined in bold!

No one has said that. But if you would like to look at the mass killings around the world. India is not the only place. But since it affects you greatly I am sorry for your lose if you knew any of the deceased.
Whether it be bank failures that are seized 6 months to late to people being killed in India or the Human rights issues in China. Each story affects each reader differently depending where they are in the life and their geographic location along with their economics issues. Not every issue will affect everyone the same.
but it's not just that i think 29 people being killed in India is not a big thing...
it's kinda like this...
Headline #1: Stupid news that nobody cares about ..Britney spears, Paris hilton, What do you think about your lover's bad habits, how to get mr. right, does perfume cause aneurysms...
Headline #2: Stupider news about politics.... If Obama's mole on his right butt cheek could say a prayer, what would it say? McCain had pot roast for dinner last night, more developments to come....Did he have a beer with that too?
Headline #3: Wacky news about some strange person.... California man arrested for mowing the lawn naked,
Headline #4: Horrific news that makes you want to kill yourself....Mass killings in some country. Hundreds of thousands of people without homes and children are starving....
Headline #5: Real news that should have been at the top, but now your brain is numb from everything else, so you don't care anymore.....also, doesn't seem as bad compared with Headline #4.... Banks are closing, Food costs are rising, Economy is tanking, Families are losing their homes, Supplies that were supposed to go to Katrina victims are going to Casinos,
