DVD Photo Recovery

I need some serious help with this issue. I burnt my wedding pictures(around a 1000) on a DVD to free up some space on computer. I tried pulling some pics from DVD today but I don't see anything on the DVD. I burnt the DVD a few months ago. What do you think caused it? I kept DVD in a case and hadn't touch it until now. There're definitely no scratches on it. I would really appreciate your help on this. Would anyone recommend any software, utility or trick to recover those valuable photos, please? I would be very grateful to you.
Thanks.

Your PC may not be reading the DVD correctly. Maybe try it on a different computer?
If that doesn't work, it's quite likely that the burn process failed. =\

Did you check your DVD after burning it to make sure it was OK? Like Epic said, best to check it on a diferent computer.
