| Why do you write it? Hi!
I've seen on this forum, and on many other forums as well, that people write "there" instead of "their" and "your" instead of "you're". Why do you do that? Is it a kind of forum slang, a new trend in Internet communication, or something like that?

| It is common for people to use the wrong word. I say who cares. They know what they mean and so do you. |

| "Their" shows possession like:
their car or you should go to their home.
"There" would be like go over there or he went over there or my brother was there-
Make sense?
I think most people just type spontaneously and dont look back.
I know sometimes I forget a word in a sentence.. o- well. I can't fix every
reply i respond to or start. |

| well, they sound exactly the same, and when you read it in your mind, you read the same word, so it doesnt really matter, and you can just replace the type you mean in your mind so many peolpe just type it out however they want |

| I think it's annoying. But whatever. Some forums (like any I run) will have filters. So that "ur" turns into you're, and stuff. You know, chat speak filters =P |
