| Highway of Heroes For those who don't know, the "Highway of Heroes" is the 172km Hwy 401 where fallen Canadian Soldiers are escorted. Since 2002 thousands have stood on overpasses wearing red and holding signs, waiting for the the motorcade to pass. It lets the families know that we're thinking of them and it means so much to them. For the crowd, they feel connected to the family for a few seconds. Highway Of Heroes |

| Very touching. A truelly beautifull way to honour those who fought for their country!
I suppose there has been a big increase since the Iraque War.
Thanks for letting us know.

| It's tragic that young people should have to take this trip.
highlights even more how pointless war truly is.
It is a beautiful and stirring tribute.
