How often do you change the look of your computer?
I personally can't stand my computer looking the same for a long time, I just get bored, and one of the main reasons I love Linux is that I can completely change the theme, in ways that are either impossible or just very difficult in Windows.
I find that I change my computer's appearence every 6 or 7 days. So that means, every week(ish), I find some really nice theme component (GTK, GDM, wallpaper, mouse, etc) and decided to completely restructure my computer around that, and it just adds that sense of variety I need.
If you're interested,
here is a screenshot of my current theme . It is based around Arch-tan, personification of Arch Linux.

Every time I throw it out of the window. Or I take a hammer to it, or the damn cat has eaten it again!

The only time I change my desktop or user interface is when I reinstall the OS or do a major upgrade. That is when i get the idea of doing something different. Which is probably about once a year.

Never I'm always looking at firefox when I'm on it so it doesn't matter, but they is a cool mod you can get for windows xp called crystal clear that really spices up the look of your pc. I have had it for about a year now.

I very rarely change my desktop background or the look of my computer in general, but this is more out of laziness than anything. I do get bored of it looking a certain way but I usually just can't be bothered deciding on a different image so I just resolve to leave it and change another day.
