Nothing against them, or those with them. Some tattoos can be tasteful, and they can even be a permanent reminder or statement about the person that only an image can say without the person needing to write a book. These, however, do that very thing - and what they say about the person is by no means something they should want to admit.
That is very true in a lot of cases maximum, people will pick a tattoo of the wall at a tattoo shop, Bad idea, that means the tattoo has no meaning what so ever,I will only get inked, If what i am putting on my body permanently means some thing really special to me personally.
I don't understand the logic behind wanting to draw on yourself. I could never do it personally - IMHO most don't look that great and look worse as they fade etc as you grow older. (Not wishing to cause offence to anyone with a tattoo). Some do look ok though - small tattoos generally are ok, things likek that - no thanks.
They do fade very bad after years of sun and ect, and it is necessary to get them redone. All of mine have very special meaning to me, when i wear a regular short sleeve t-shirt, they can not be seen.
I think in the up coming years, Tattoo removal will make HUGE $$$$$'s. A lot of people got Tattoos when it was fad a few years ago, A lot of them will probably be seeking Tattoo removal in the near future.
I got my first one in 1984, The three i have, I will always have, they do mean a lot to me, that is probably hard to understand, but they do
When I was eighteen and into bikes (almost 40 years ago) Tattoos were the rage and I had a couple of smallish ones (amateur), I have maintained a professional career as a civil engineer with my name tattoed across my fingers.
It's never to late Dave. Get something that is very dear to your heart, Or something that has become a part of you, I have seen people get Tattoos reflecting an Illness that they have had to live with and ect. It is what it means to you, no one else, In my opinion, and i feel this way about my Tattoos, they are very personal to me.
I knew a girl .. most of her body was covered in a tattoo of a snake .. it wound around and around .. and around some more .. beautiful to look at .. wound around her torso .. up and down her legs and arms .. most interesting was where the snakes tounge was.
