i came across similar thread on another forum and I really like the idea. Big thanks to DNP who inspired me to start this thread.

So NamePros members, if you had full control over this board and could make any changes you want, what would they be? Would you even change anything at all?

I would put a staff fund from which the staff members are given free beers every month delivered right on their doorsteps The rest I think staff can handle after finishing with those beers.
1. When adding links in your threads it would be much easier if you could just highlight the text you want to make a link and add the url. Also, instead of adding that link to the bottom of the text field it would be much nicer if it was pasted where the cursor is (same with smilies).
Also, when modifying text in posts when you highlight a word or sentence and modify it (ie.. underline, bold) can we make the text stay highlighted so that you can make another modification to it instead of having to highlight it again? Maybe there is some trick I don't know about
2. Make a rule that a new member must be a member for a certain amount of time and or have a certain amount of "quality" posts (not in break room, contest forum) before they can start their own sales thread. Especially auctions, I feel for manicgirl who is always has her hands full over there! Or maybe to be able to start a sales thread you must read and check a box saying you read the rules of that forum. I know sounds kind of too strict and that's one thing that I love about it here is that it is a great place for new members to start conducting business. The mods are great at staying on top of incorrect posts too so maybe this is not necessary.. Just an idea.
Overall this is a great forum with excellent mods working hard to keep it sane around here! Thanks to everyone
Hmm, I dont really think I would change anything. I might try introducing more themes for members to choose from though. Maybe one with penguins and igloos on it.
Maybe select afew new staff & moderators. I'd send management on a holiday for always looking out for us and let staff control the management issues for awhile
