exponent has been mauled by a car, leave him a note here
I'm really not sure how to go about saying this, but here goes I guess.. Many of you know my brother, exponent (Steven). He's been training for the TOSRV which is a 212 mile bicycle race as well as several 5 and 10k foot races that he participates in.
Tuesday morning, he was cycling in our home town when someone opened a car door while passing him, it knocked him from his bike and cracked most of the ribs on his left side. He's pretty banged up, but should be ok. However, Stevie is having a rough time. His bike is a mess, "going to classes sucks when you're covered in road rash", and of course, no insurance. Most of all, "I can hardly use the friggin bathroom with these damned knuckles". (sorry, im writing what he's telling me).
Anyhow, he's looking forward to you "giving him hell" and such and so this is the thread for it. Also, every domain he owns (lots of ohio geo .coms) are now for sale since he's piecing his bike back together.

and of course... the ever hard headed, unbreakable exponent (Steven B.)
Wishing you well.. I've had many a bike wreck over the years and have the scars to prove it. Never broke any bones tho! Did denude a really thorny rose bush once that jumped in front of me.. OUCH!
I'm getting ready to take my mountain bike to class. The doctors told me to keep my road rash moisturized and to keep moving or else I would stiffen up worse than I already am. As for a Chiropractor, my shoulders are too rashed to even attempt it at this point. I feel like I'm using an old time typewriter because I've got to pick my arms up to type.. otherwise the road rash on my arms hits my pc desk. Not good.
Many thanks to all well wishers.
Special thanks to liquidcherry.

Luckily, I ride a pretty inexpensive bike (shimano components) so i can probably find parts easy. For now, I'm going to have street tires put on my mountain bike.
SOMETIMES HELMETS LOOK STUPID, BUT THAT STUPID HELMET PROBABLY SAVED MY LIFE.
