For those of you who dont use FireFox

I was just wondering why so many people continue to use IE.
I have used IE for years but now use FireFox. I should have changed to FireFox earlier. IE has given me about 5 reasonably serious Viruses and some of which I am yet to eradicate.
On the other hand FireFox actually stops Popups, I mean we have all downloaded Programs that claim to stop Pop ups, but they are always breached, so when i found Firefox is so secure in terms of Pop Up Bloacking I was so happy!
Also the Tab System is great, you have to experience it for yourself and in teh Firts few days of Using FireFox you will notice something cool and handy everyday.
Also finally the Downlaod System is WAY more advanced than IE.
You are able to Pause and configure downlaod settings in a simple Fashion which is very Convenient for 56K Users like me.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/the-break-room/47266-those-you-who-dont-use-firefox.html
Anyway i hoep by Making this thread I can convert Some IE Users.

Been using FireFox for a few months now, and the only reason I ever used IE is because that's what came with Windows.

I personally still use internet explorer have used firefox in the past but wasnt overly impressed

internet explorer also stops pop ups now if you have the latest version. Regarding being able to pause downloads I really dont have any need whatsoever for that at all. If a file is that big the chances are its on ftp which is ussually resumable anyway so if I need to stop a transfer I can continue that way.

I used FireFox for a little while, but I also dont feel it "felt" right. I guess after using IE for years, it was weird starting off with something else. I like very much some features though, such as tabbed browsing (although I think it would be better to open new windows in a new tab rather than a whole new window - anybody know how to make this default?). Also the download manager is nice!

I wonder if FireFox supports ActiveX? Is there any other browser than IE that supports that?

I googled it and found: "Firefox does not support ActiveX or Browser Helper Objects (BHOs).

This is part of what makes Firefox safer, there is more on ActiveX below."

designers of Mozilla Browser, aka Netscape, actually Netscape just modifies their codes and brands their logo. Mozilla is one of the largest dev projects in the world, and will soon revolutionize everything!

Firefox is good too, but I prefer MyIE 2 cuz it has functions similar to Firefox, and it can minimize to the task bar which is a + to me.
