I think its a waste of money but i like to get one from time to time
btw The reason why i created this topic is that i've added a lottery script to my forums so far the Estimated Jackpot for the next drawing: 2340 RD$

(which I won nice on 6 years ago)
but I don't play the same numbers!
It's quick pick for me....
I know people who have been playing the same
numbers for 25 years and they literally freak out
if they miss buying their tickets...
I couldn't take that kind of stress

Yes i usually buy 1-2 scratch tickets every morning. From time to time i buy power ball tickets. Always quick pick ones. Funny i see this thread, i just bought PredictLottery(dot)com LOL!

You can't win if you don't play..

Are they a waste of time and money? They're a dollar and a dream.. you can't put a price on that, eh?

I've won $2600 several times in the past (NY Win4) and $13.500 once.. many smaller prizes.

These days I play the Powerball and the most I've won is $7 but I would waste the $1 anyway.

I purchase them every once in a while, We have the power ball + plus a regular lottery. I don't think they are a waste of money, someone is going to win, you can only hope it is you. I usually only purchase 3 lines of numbers when i get one, three bucks isn't a biggie.

Well, i just woke up and realized that i've dreamed it :-)

In the 80's a couple friends/coworkers and i played together in germany, we did it for quite some time, same numbers and won alltogether around 1000 DM (500 euro) and i was responsible for bringing the slip into the store....One day we checked our numbers and we saw that we had 4 numbers right, what a moment of joy...estimated win 1000 euro...so i went into the store to collect the money...just to get a tenth of it...i forgot to select 1 number!!, and the store automatically chose a number(way back there was no quickpick option/computers, everything was made manually...but they didn't tell me that one number was missing, i called the lottery company and they sad"bad luck") :-(

Well, i stopped playing for over 3 years :-)
