Spelled Peart actually, I consider Neil Peart of the band Rush, to be the best all around drummer i have ever seen, That with a close a second by Scott Rockenfield of the band Queensryche.
That kid has the talent to be as good or better, Imo . I have never seen a performance by a 12 year old kid, that showed the promise that young man has.
I just checked around on youtube a little more. Hes like 18 now or early 20's I believe, that video was from years ago. I played drums for quite a few years and had an excellent teacher. I personally found it very hard to get all 4 limbs in sync with the drums and eventually quit. This kid is a natural imho, very talented!
Lets not forget the drummer from the Dave Mathews band whatever his name is, he's also very very good. This kid reminds me alot of him style wise
Very Diverse, I heard some jazz, rock , metal, stick twirling, held the sticks a few diff. ways during that 8 minutes, non-stop double bass, etc. Wow. That kid should be with some of the best Pro Musicians right now! I could see Queensryche, Avenged, Rush, Maybe w/a Steve Vai type project, or someone THAT talented and diverse!
