How Effective Is Your SIG?
Just curious: how much of your traffic does your SIG account for? I think my SIG here gets ALOT of clicks.. probably accounts for 50% of my traffic at times. How is yours doing?

I think it all depends on your post count and what you're posting.
If I find that someone makes a good point I will usually check out their sig.
So you must be doing well and contributing

15k post count...yeah...imagine every post was instead a blog post on your own site...
My sig gets me some visits but nothing major. I just like the link juice.

I think it's reasonably effective. I get plenty of pm's about my sig

I get some traffic. Especially with effective or eye catching phrases to get other users to click.

1% of my site traffic comes from here at 4000+ posts.
But then the other sources of my traffic are too many. So that is why it might be the reason.

I'd say quite effective. It does bring traffic to my sites.

I check to see where the traffic is coming from in my AWSTATS
I haven't sold a SIG line in awhile (my first line is sold), but have done well with mine in the past.

Depends what I have on the sig. Brings in traffic though so I'm very pro-signature advertising.

Depends on if you are trying to fill your 4 lines to the max with as many links as possible.
Also depends on your catch line.
Also depends on if you rotate it.
In the past year, 8.5% of visits to regfee.info have been from NP, according to Google Analytics.

I use a click counter for my sig here and find I get about 200 clicks per month. Not bad for free advertisement

I tend to use my signature to direct to my other sales here. The items I post and the items I sell often share common characteristics, so I do find that many of my sales threads get more interest when I add a signature link.
