I don't think that anyone here would be qualified to really give you good advice in that regards unless they're an optomotrist, did you go & see one & they just gave you eye drops? Have you gone back & told them it didn't work or got a 2nd opinion from another one?
However, the optician I spoke to when I got my glasses recommended that every so often you take a break, and/or look at something 3D.
Also drink plenty of water, and try not to be in a room which has a spray in (as you blink less or something while watching a monitor) so your eyes don't dry up.
I had CRT monitor. Still No problems with eyes or anything. Had severe headaches in between. But who cares. God has given such a body to everyone that is capable of healing itself far better then medicines.
I feel like my eyes get really strained sometimes from looking at the screen for extended periods. I also am short-sighted in my left eye and near-sighted in my right eye with not-so-good vision but I havn't worn glasses since I was 12. I keep saying I'm gonna go get a pair but I never seem to get around to it.
I remember one time being on the PC for like 20+ hours working on something really important at the time. I honestly think I lost my sense of color for a few minutes there. I looked away and everything went black&white, I looked back and it still was gray. lol Kinda scared me but I went and laid down and after a few minutes I was back to normal. I've never had that happen again otherwise I definetly would be gett'n to the eye doc.
Well who knows maybe My eyes also have problems. But Don't know as I haven't visited a doc and haven't tried to look beyond the horizon or a beautiful sunset. I am still staring at my monitor
well easy tip which my mother advice me to place pieces of cocumber on my both eyes for somtime and it really works as i m facing problem and has itching in my eyes but now its great and i highly reccommend it to my brother to use it
eye drops are steroid sort of stuff soothes for sometime but cocumber has long lasting effects
i have eye problems since elementary so I think I can't recommend but what I've been told is the American Eye Institute which can cure eye ailment using laser eye technology you should asked them about it.
