| Netscape comes to an End? Did any one notice the news about netscape browser?
There wouldn't be any support for the current product and no more future versions of netscape navigator.
They are recommending to use FIREFOX???

| Netscape has been dead for ages. It has only just officially stopped being updated though.
Mozilla (so Firefox) essentially comes from Netscape which is why they are recommending it. |

| Yes AOL bought out Netscape some years ago. They bought it out due to wanting some the technologies Netscape owned if I remember correctly.
Netscape has been dying ever since. It was turned into a community developed browser for a while. |
