I froze my backside off (-20 C here), but I went outside and watched it.
I even video taped parts of it, but they're too shaky I bet . It was quite cool! I remember watching one when I was a little kid long long long ago (No Mark, you're still older!).

Saw one in Australia a few months back.
It was pretty spectacular, but since Im so close to the city it wouldn't have looked half as good as it would in the country.
I went outside to watch it but it was too cloudy to see the moon...odd thing was that I could see the full moon just fine when I was driving home...clouds just came in from nowhere
