Wasted Long distance ....

Well - I sold a Domain to a Chicago based Corporation ........

I sold them the .us version of what they owned in .com already
(Yes this does work out sometimes) by Emailing them.

They of course wanted to speak to me and since there was xxx $ involved - hey I dont mind .....

I called the Main office first ... Toll free - No Problems ...
They approved the Deal then refered me to accounting (Not toll free .... )
They Approved and have sent out check and refered me to the Advertising dept ..... (Not toll free ....)

They of course KNOW absolutely NOTHING About domains except the fact they own some ..... They Forwarded my call to their "Webmaster" ------
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/the-break-room/42615-wasted-long-distance.html

lol

This is where it gets Funny - The "Webmaster" lives about 10 minutes from me - and his numbers are LOCAL .....

Just thought it was a bit Odd/Funny ......

Hey, you made money on the name, though, right? Even after you pay the phone bill?
