![]() ![]() ![]() | A BBS is what the nerdy people used before internet access came around in rural areas You set your modem up to accept calls and your software would allow people to log into your system, check their email, send email ( which was sent through FidoNet a few times a day) and there'd be games people could play, mostly RPGs. BBS does stand for Bulletin Board System and basically it's what people had for a local phone call before ISPs came into town. |
