Munchkin, Inc. - maker of award-winning infant and toddler products is once again reminding women everywhere "Don't Duck a Breast Exam" with the return of its successful Project Pink breast cancer awareness campaign. Munchkin has enlisted the support of a diverse group of celebrities to sign and decorate Munchkin's limited edition pink bath ducks scheduled for auction via eBay in October. All auction proceeds will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
In 2006, Project Pink raised over $30,000 through the combination of the celebrity duck eBay auction and sale of more than 70,000 pink ducks to consumers nationwide.
Munchkin's celebrity duck eBay auction goes live Monday, October 1st and concludes on Sunday, November 4th. Celebrity ducks will be auctioned off weekly in groups; see the Munchkin Project Pink eBay auction schedule for groupings and dates. All auctions begin at 6pm PST.
