![]() | How reach US 1-800 from Canada? Hi, I got a message on my answering machine from someone in USA. I only have his first name and a 1-800 number. What I did not know is that I can't call back a 1-800 number in USA from Canada!! "The number cannot be reach..." Bell Canada, which is the phone companie here, told me that it's impossible to reach a 1-800 in USA from Canada!? WTF? I have try every reverse lookup on the web, but the number is not list. So, I can't call back this guy! Do you know a way to reach a US 1-800 phone number from Canada? Thanks! Steve

![]() ![]() | not all 1800 number are not accessable from canada..only business who restrict business only to US can chose to not have calls from canada and canadian business can choose not to have calls from US..its just an option the company sets. |

![]() | Wait wait .. some carriers can route US 800 numbers. In fact, the only problem we've seen is when people tried dialing 866 numbers. The country codes for the US and Canada are the same .. its ONE. So, either he's using some kinda screwed up service or his number is 866*.
