Now that bad, if you consider that other services like 2Checkout.com charge similar fees, but costs $50 to open an account there.
Althrough they seem to process transactions faster then PP when it comes to Bank Accounts.

I think it depends on the type of account you have or from where the payment is sent from, not sure, all I know is they took over $50 off me last month, but thats ok...

They take fees if you have Premier or Business account, not for a Standard account. But you can't accept CC with a Standard account...

CC as in credit card right ? I'm glad I have a standard account. I don't care if it doesn't allow CC or other features, just great if it's free.

Yes, CC is Credit Card, sorry. I had a standard account too before I've sold some domain names, and so I had to accept CC

was intrigued about how much I had spent on fees with paypal this month as well so just checked,
total adds upto £24.35 ($44.02)
these were not for domains etc but for a few music items I sold also had ebay fees as well £44.06 ($79.65)
seems to take the edge off of using these mediums for selling and receing money.

most people use a primier/business acct when they need to accept CC because not everyone uses paypal
When they start selling/dealing with other things ie. selling stuff & hosting, ect.
