I don't really think of anything -- just a blank dot on a white background. It's weird to talk about, but I see the spot without linking it to an image.

some people call there local facorite place that they go to such as a restaurant, bar or club a hot spot i.e. " this bar is one of the hot spot in town"
favorite*
or if its hot outside and someone is having a slush puppy or ice cream they might say " that ice cream or slush puppy really hit the spot "
slush puppy also known as slushies just flavored ice ( for those of u that dont know what it is )

OK, so:
5 location
5 dog
2 dot
3 other
My intention was to check how much word "spot" equals to "location" or "dot", and the results show 7 for / 8 against. Not a good score... I was hoping at least 10/5.
Anyway, thank you all for participation. You were very helpfull.

No one thought of spot as a verb - spot as in "to find" or "to look"?
