Damn Canadian Dollar! Come on GreenBack - Get Your Act Together!
The Canadian dollar is peaking over .92 cents American as of late. It certainly hurts those of us being paid in Yankee dollars - it was .87 just a few months back and high .70s last year. The Bank of Canada is predicting parity - or worse the Canadian dollar being worth more by this time next year!
I'm sure those in Europe and Japan are also seeing their profits dwindle away each time the greenback dips.
Of course there is the flip-side - it's cheaper to convert our money to U.S. when buying goods/services etc in U.S. dollars.
But still... come on George, i know being president is a hard job as you say, but think of us poor Canadians! LOL
Next summer I'll be demanding payment via paypal in Canadian dollars! Who would of thought!
And that's the odd thing at this point - it should be slowing down our economy as they purchase almost all of our exports!
Oh almost forgot one other good thing - I live 5 minutes from the border - it's much cheaper for me to buy my gas down there. So I guess it's okay if ol'George takes a while to get on to the sinking dollar.
Ah you've got about 6-7 months before the real election crap kicks in.
The dollar is weak itself here in the US.

We're actually getting ripped off right now on things like books, magazines, greeting cards, and anything else that have us&can price preprinted on it. For those of you in border towns, an extra incentive for cross-border shopping...
