I think it's annoying when people try to force it upon you. I got into it on my on time. And maybe in the future you will also.

Spirited is an unknown quantity at this point

I don't go to church, but I think you have a great idea for a site there.

I'm a pagan - my church is the out doors and my sermons include planting and tending my fruit, veggie and herb garden, quiet strolls or picnics up on the moor, an afternoon at the local park or a quick dip in the ocean. Which I think makes my spiritual life quite enjoyable.

I don't have much against Christianity, my only real bug bear is schools (like the ones I and my siblings went to) tend to assume everybody is Christian and manage to force dogmas down their throats before they understand what religion is. I understand that not all Christians are like that though. I'm in favour of religious education in schools (finding out about different religions in depth with an emphaisis on Christianity because it is the most prevailant in this area of the country) but I think prayers and indoctrinating children should be banned or at least only allowed in religious schools (rather than public/state schools).
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/the-break-room/32410-do-you-go-to-church.html

I believe that people should decide their spiritual beliefs for themselves with access to information and people of different faiths. Trying to force it on kiddies is generally detremental to Christianity since being told what to think is something kids rebel against. (/rant)

Best of luck with the site,

Spirited
(a pagan with her head screwed on and without the pagan tendancy to have a chip on their shoulder about Christianity - honest!)

Many people actually consider me a satanist.

Im not, but people think I am because of the music I am into (Death Metal, Black Metal etc) I also read books by people such as Anton Szander Lavey but is more out of curiosity (If you do read his books youwould soon find out that Levay's satanism isn't the way satanaism is normally perceived)
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=32410

My website actually got hacked one time by an anti satanic hacking group (can;t remember the name) funny thing is the site wasn;t satanic either, it was a fan site for a horror movie.

Good luck in your site, I remember seeing on the news a few weeks ago there was a major site started for muslims I think it was (can't quite remember but there was something about posting messages on the wall of the church) but they had virtual sermons etc as well, with the right marketing etc could be a very successful venture.

[B] Not a regular church goer but I always try to live by The Golden Rule.
Intrigued Scott, what IS the golden rule?

As for myself, I went to church when i was younger. Simply because my parents dragged me into Sunday School as they are devout Christians.
However, as I have grown up and the things I have seen, along with my thoughts and opinions, I find it hard to believe much of it. Obviously, each to there own, but I cant help but feel there are holes in the whole concept and belief of god.

Now, dont get me confused with some saying "religion is bad". I would never and have never said that. If you wish to believe that God is a pink Zebra, with green dots and believes you should only work on a sunday evening and live in a bath tub, then thats cool Good luck.

Just doesnt work for me
