Just back in from seeing the movie/documentary Super Size Me. It was excellent. It is a documentary following the film-maker as he goes from eating a healthy diet to only eating McDonalds food for 30 days. He has to supersize it if they ask. His own rule is that he can not eat anything but McDonalds, and he must try everything on the menu.
He gains 24 pounds in the 30 days, and comes very close to kidney failure.
An excellent movie, IMO. I had to go a little ways to catch it, it is only playing in a few theaters, and the one I saw it in, looked straight out of 1977.
Interesting figures, but how could they talk about McDonald's food for two straight hours?! Not too sure if I'd stay awake through the movie, as interesting as it may seem.
I don't believe in the whole 'eating fast food puts on weight' stuff. I used to eat fast food all the time when I lived closer to it, and I never had any weight problems. I got skiny, if anything.
I could start a discussion arguement, but I won't!
The website for Super Size Me looks similar to an old McDonalds website, if I can remember correctly.
