| Blog software I currently use Movable Type 2.x to manage a small weblog with two authors.
I'm interesting in finding out what other folks are using to run their blogs. I don't mind paying for software, but the software should support multiple blogs and multiple authors in addition to the usual content management features.
Any comments would be great.
Thanks,
Mike |

| I'll throw in a vote for WordPress -- www.wordpress.org -- fully-featured and soon to support multiple blogs. |

| There are indeed blog software aplenty, from Movable Type (version 3.0 is now out!), b2/cafelog/WordPress, pMachine, etc.
One of the best is pMachine's new ExpressionEngine (visit pMachine's site www.pmachine.com). It's new and the features are amazing.

| Movable Type is here.
I am most likely moving away from MT because of Six Apart's licensing scheme. It's a bit restrictive for what I want to do (and doesn't include any major upgrades).
Also, version 3 doesn't seem to add a whole lot of functionality.
I may wait before doing anything, but I'm trying to find out as much as I can about the alternatives now.

| I think many people are looking for MT alternatives now that the new restrictive pricing scheme has come out. I think many of them will find WordPress their best bet... plus, it's free. |
