NewsPaper Website
I want to start up a online newspapers.
Anybody know a good newspapers script.
I seen a few but not quite what I'm looking for. I want it look like a real papers.
Anyone know of any good newspaper templates that look like a newspaper.
I might have to settle for a content manager. - Which on do you suggest I use if I can't find a good script.
Thanks

there are several good ones, but they are not free.
Are you looking for free ones?

Hi Feras,
I'd be interested to hear your recommendations for the paid ones. I'm thinking of starting one for my city.
Thanks.

I cant remember the name of the good ones for ya armstrong
There was this one very good one I setup for a client a few months ago, but I don't remember what it was, and I thought I had it in favorites but I dont see it anywhere.
But I did a few searches, and found one that seems pretty good.... it isn't news like a real newspaper, but gets to the point?
http://www.nelogic.com/4/15.html
like I said, I havent physically tried that one, but by glancing through demo seemed pretty good.
But if I was you, if you wanted to start a site to do some real newspaper stuff, as in you're expecting high volume, I would program one for myself or if you don't know PHP yourself, have someone else program it.
Anyways, let me know how it goes for both of you!

Nice software, but the $795 price tag? Ouch. I figured something like this should cost less than $100.

What do you mean exactly?
Also, you can just modify the template to make it look like how you want it to
BTW, let me know how this goes/where it's being setup at

Web-Ready Publication Seems to me that the front page of an Open Source CMS would suit your purposes much better for creating web-ready publications. There are several that would work: Mambo or Xoop (or even some of the Blog programs) would do what you want with flexibility to modify for your own needs.
Good luck with this project.
