Cool Colts vs. Bears: The Official Super Bowl Thread

It's official, the Indianapolis Colts just pulled off the greatest comeback in NFL championship game history (came back from an 18 point deficit) to beat the Patriots 38-34, and will face the Chicago Bears on February 4.

Go COLTS!

As a Bears fan, I would've rather played the Colts than the Pats, so I'm happy with the outcome of the AFC Championship game. The Bears are going to be the underdogs no matter what - but then again, they're always the underdogs.

That was a hell of a game. I wasn't rooting for the Colts, but that was an amazing comeback. I had some small bets for the Patriots and the Saints, so I was a big loser today.

Come Super Bowl, I'll be rooting for the Bears.

I was rooting for the Saints (born in New Orleans, and been a fan even through those nearly winless years ), so I was sad to see them lose...but I've also been a Colts fan for a long time, so I'm pumped to see them finally reach the Super Bowl.

I was getting worried about that, but from the looks of his solid post-injury passing game, I'm assuming (hoping) that it's nothing too serious.

it was a great game.....Manning will be in top form for the superbowl...the bears have not faced an offense that can explode like the colts can....No surprise on the bears beating the saints.... Colts 31 Bears 16 .... Harrison will have a big day....so will dallas clark.

Two awfully executed football games yesterday, but none the less two great games. The Colts and Bears both deserve it, and have played great this whole season, but I have to give the edge to the Bears. The Colts defense has been pathetic in the five or six games I have watched them this year, and Peyton Manning has not been on fire in the playoffs. The Bears have an experienced defense, and even though Grossman has no clue what he is doing at QB, I think the Bears will pull this one out in a tight one.

On a side note, can we get a vBookie event going for the Super Bowl?

How did I not see this last night?
All I know is I'll be rooting for the beers in the super bowl. The colts are assholes.

I'm so mad, that the patriots were so close! we had it for 99% of the game, and the colts came back in the end. Makes me so mad

As a Bostonian, this was a very sad day. I have to admit I was near tears when my beloved Patriots went under. It was not the fact that we lost- but that we handed them the game. It was hurtful to watch. I have nightmares guys. Manning's forhead will not leave my dreams. What a cruel world. We freaken had it!!!!!!!

But I want the Colts to win the Super Bowl because next year, I want them to know they got lucky. Bitter? Yes! Nontheless I am rooting for the Colts becuase this time next year we are going to murder them and they will know whats it feels like to be Champinions and they will know what it feels like to lose and oh it will be so painful for Dungie and Manning.

I'm a Packers fan and naturally hate the Bears, but considering the Packers played the Patriots in the Super Bowl and won it, and the patriots have been back way too many times since then, I am beginning to hate them just as much as the Bears. I am not a huge colts, or Manning fan, but I'm glad to see them go to the Super Bowl instead of the Patriots.

Should be a good game, high powered offense vs a top defense.
