Talking Top 50 WORST SONGS Of All Time!

http://www.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/Musi....ap/index.html

Well, from their Top Ten I agree with at least 4* of them:
"We Built This City" Starship
"Everybody Have Fun Tonight" Wang Chung
"Don't Worry Be Happy," Bobby McFerrin
"The Heart of Rock & Roll," Huey Lewis and the News ("Hip To Be Square" would have been an even better pick but heck, any Huey Lewis song will do!)

Cheers!

Must agree with Party All The Time, lol. Eddie Murphy never should have sung. Don't see whats so wrong w/ My Heart Will Go On and The Greatest...okay, so they're sappy, but I liked them!

i heard at on the radio that greats such as the macerana and who let the dogs out etc were not looked at so closely as they seem to of been more ar less designed to be as aggravating as possible, as such a lack of aggravating intent is more meaningful

Wang Chung did the theme song to "To Live and Die in L.A." which is/was super cool, though. Huey rocks the world with "Walking On a Thin Line"!!

Generally agree with the selections, though ... this one will kill you dead, IMHO >> "You Light Up My Life," Debby Boone.
Gah!

It's funny, BTW:
My wife actually gave my a Wang Chung/"Everybody Have Fun Tonight"-related card for my birthday, last month; it featured a cowboy on his horse, contemplating "But what if everyone does Wang Chung tonight? Who's gonna look after the herd then?" lol

Okay, so "Ice Ice Baby" deserves to be there. But these are all nice:

"She Bangs" - catchy
"We Didn't Start the Fire" - classic
"The Sounds of Silence" - very soothing
"Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" - makes me want to dance

I think the editors are simply trying to stir controversy.

I think "Its a Great Day to be a Guy" by Cletus T. Judd [sp?] should have been on there. Along with his song about Christmas, and the one about bad breath. And Pink Monkey's 'Barbed Wire & Roses", uugghh....

Everytime I hear that song, I'm reminded of a Dilbert cartoon where their boss does something really idiotic and Dilbert turns around and tells him, "Sir, you are the wind beneath my wings."

On the topic of songs, I'm planning on selling my car system:

Amplifier: Crossfire BMF1000D (1200 watts peak power)
Subs: 2 Alpine 12" 1000 Watt Type-R 4 ohm DVC Subwoofer

If anyone knows anything about car audio, you know this system kills. In all honesty, you can hear the pounding of this system from down the street easily. The amplifier is 1200 watts, and the two 12" Alpine subs are 1000 watts each. These things shake everything around it. If you want attention, this is what you need. PM me offers if anyone's interested (anything reasonable).
