![]() | America's enemies cheer election results I have heard that statements from Iran and Al-Qeida approve of the results of American elections. Apparently they feel that a Democrat victory is good for them. Will the Dems feel obliged to take action that proves them wrong? Or has America capitulated? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Why shouldn't the terrorists be happy? The bush administration and all of their right wing mouth pieces on talk radio have been telling them for a year now that a democrat win is a win for the terrorists. Are you suggesting that the administration has emboldened the terrorists for sleazy political purposes? |

I can easily come up with 3 reasons why a Republican loss is good for terrorists. I doubt anyone can come up with three reasons why a Democrat victory is bad for terrorists.

![]() | These parties may have diffrences when it comes to their views in policy making. There's still this one thing that binds them. The interest of the American people will always be on top of their priority. Iran and Al-Qeida should not feel comfortable by this change of political tides. |

![]() | So no one can come up with 3 reasons? I didn't think so. I can come up with one reason. Previously the democrats were on the outside looking in politically. Now they are on the inside. They are no longer forced to play the role of the "opposition" party. They actually have a political stake in seeing things go well for this country in all ways, security and Iraq included. They will be more likely to actually work with the president now on these issues rather than try to oppose him every step of the way. In all honesty, it was not previously in the political interest of democrats to have things go well in Iraq or to give the country the impression that security here was good. Now things have changed. If there is a terrorist attack in the U.S. next year, it won't just be Republicans who get blamed. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=256623 I hope this plays out. I hope the enemies of America receive the message loud and clear that having 2 parties in power is worse for them than having 2 parties fighting against each other.
