I own a domain of a famous celebrity soccer player, Cristiano Ronaldo. I turned it into a mini-site and it gets a fair amount of visitors. Here is the fan mail I got from one of the visitors which thinks that the owner of the site is Cristiano Ronaldo himself:
Her second email:
Her third email (within a 24 hour time span may I add):
Her fourth email (the funniest of the bunch):
The last one really cracked me up, "do you have a college degree?"...
I use to get emails to bianca from BiancaRyan.info even though I state I'm not affiliated with her. If they're of the media type I pass 'em along. I have many emails of people saying "You're music brings me to tears."
Oh that is sad!! Poor thing. I agree you should tell her that you are not who she thinks you are. But be nice... she really thinks she is in love with him
There's a lot of people out there that don't know anything about the internet, and don't know that anybody can register just any name that's available. Hah!
But yeah, that girl is way too obsessive and if she actually thinks she has a chance with him, just WOW. I think the best way is just to reply, telling her you're not who she thinks he is, and giving her advice on much more important things in life.. that he's a celeberity and there's millions of other girls that are in love with him.
How sad, a mother needs to speak to her daughter with these types of situations.
I don't think I want to start getting into a discussion with her. She'll get over it within a few years.
It's funny because I used to have my email on the website, and the email was mailbag@domain.com. I got approx 3-5 emails per day from fans, there was actually a few girls that said they wanted to talk to me and send their pics and whatnot, so I removed the email address from the site since I just thought that they'd maybe click on more useful things on the site instead (such as the advertisements ). And now, I don't know how this one got my email, she must've looked at a cache or had it saved on her pc from viewing the site a few weeks ago.
Btw, at 16 writing these kind of emails is pretty strange. I am 18 and I sure as hell wasn't like this when I was 16. Not to mention she's a girl. 14 is the tops for these kinds of emails. She must be like a super late bloomer.
