Cool Bought An Adaptec Gamebridge AVC1410

I want to start doing game reviews again so was looking for an easy way to record game video or do game screenshots. I checked eBay and came across the Adaptec Gamebridge TV AVC-1410 and bought one for a winning bid of $27.56. These normally sell for from $80 - $100+.

Turn Your Computer Into a TV
GameBridge TV also provides a very affordable way to add an extra TV or to gain the benefits of a Personal Video Recorder (PVR). Schedule recordings. Take snapshots of any scene. The integrated remote control lets you select from up to 125 channels. Even preview a channel before you choose it.

GameBridge TV includes everything you need, even cables and the remote. It all fits easily into the included carrying case, so you can easily take GameBridge TV anywhere you take your computer.

Well, like I said, I'm thinking about getting back into doing reviews. I used to do reviews a few years back and you get loads of free stuff. This will certainly help.

I had been looking into some of the other USB TV Tuner devices but this one had the best reviews and seemed to be what I wanted all around. Be careful to get the 1410 tho, as alot are selling the older 1400 model on eBay as well.

Cool Screenshot Of Gamebridge in Action

Got it installed and so far have checked out the cable TV features and it works like a champ. Installation went smoothly and it works like a champ so far (tried it with cable TV, haven't tried it with a game yet). The included remote control allows you to control any aspect of the device.

Here's a cable TV screenshot (see attached)

EDIT: and here's a link to a Gamecube video I made and posted on YouTube. Amazingly, there was no lag in play.. worth every penny and more!

Yeah, will also work with any game console that uses S-Video or composite cable connections (as well as camcorders, VCR, DVD player, etc).. Will also record directly to the HD OR DVD burner!

I expect the lag issue depends on your setup as there have been a few reviews where people have reported some lag while playing games.. I haven't had a problem with it.

You can sign up with www.titantv.com for free and it will interface directly with this unit to schedule programming for viewing or recording! No TiVo subscription required!

Now I really want one!
