installing video card prob

Well, I Installed a ATI 1300PRO on my bud's computer yesterday. It worked fine when I left, though, he calls me early this morning (ugh) and says... "it flickers, going fuzzy... werid"

I'm heading out there soon, want to get a head start, re-install drivers, what should I do?

Most likely it's something to do with the refresh rate (I think).. could be it's on a setting the monitor or card doesn't support.

I was thinking the loose cable more so than refresh rate, are drivers most updated? if not try omega drivers

He is returning the card, we think, that it is damaged. I tried serveral things, including driver installation, etc.

Nvidia has always been good for me too . For their price, they're excellent . I've never had a problem with them at all.
