What's the cheapest way to accept credit cards, please ?

Apart PayPal, what other reliable companies would you recommend in order to safely accept credit cards online, please ?

Consider we're from Italy so they should accept international members ... Thanks for your kind help.

Yes, I paid for two domain purchases (~100 each) through them. They made me jump through extra hoops like sending in a copy of my passport, and confirming my phone number by calling me - twice! They seem to be a good company - sort of like Paypal, only they are able to serve more countries by taking more measures to guard against fraud.

I don't think so - it was just a xerox copy. It seemed to me like a reasonable request since I wanted to be cleared for a modest financial transaction. I remember it also being required by my US stockbroker, merchant account provider, incorporation agent, and bank.

Thanks, Apollo. I'm really opting for iKobo cause it services more countries. But right now they only accept credit cards for funding. I think they're working out on other funding methods.

Their debit card is an easy method for withdrawing funds thru ATM.
