(UPDATE) Slaughterbeck - anybody heard from Kim?

Slaughterbeck (Kimberly) has not been logged on the forum in a month. Last time I talked to her, she had been in a bicycle accident and was pretty banged up. She was very active here and a great addition to the community, and it's not normal for her to be away for so long.

Has anybody heard from her? I'm worried.

Yeah, my online missus - been wondering about her absense too. That's why I haven't been logging in as frequent like I used to at the Domain Discussion Forum.

I'm going to send her an email to the address on file. I hadn't done it yet because I didn't want to intrude on her personal life, but she's a member of our family here, and many people are missing her after a month long absence. Hopefully she's just on vacation or something. I will post when I hear back - with her permission.

UPDATE

The good news - I heard from Kim this morning. She sends her love to all her NP family and friends.

The bad news - She was hurt more seriously than first thought, and xrays discovered some nerve damage to her spine. This is making sitting up, typing and using the computer painful and difficult.

She's a tough gal though, and says things are improving, and she's starting to feel a bit better. She has briefly visited the forum and she appreciates all the well wishes in this thread. I did not get a chance to ask when she expects to return.

She sends "hugs and kisses" to everybody.

Let's all wish her a speedy recovery, and send her out another NP shout.

We love & miss you Kim. Our thoughts are with you. We will keep your seat warm.
