    | File Recovery Software Hey guys & gals, My Harddrive messed up today and I had to reformat & reinstall windows to get things working again so I need some help recovering the main C Partition. Does anyone have some suggestions on Free OR Paid software thats excellent at recovering complete files?

| If you formatted and restored on the main partition that you're trying to recover from, most likely the data is gone. The data that is possibly recoverable wouldn't be recoverable cheaply...

| We use Rstudio at work to recover files off of formatted drives... a lot of times it does not work, but sometimes it does. Don't know a website to get Rstudio at though

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/the-break-room/128980-file-recovery-software.html A) Partition was a "jiggy-rigged" format, only the MBR was rewritten and a portion overwritten. B) Size of date I am looking to recover is quite small under 10GB.

| Any others suggestions people? RStudio is pretty good but it's only "recovering" portions of the first 2.8GB of the disc and the total partition size is 14.6GB.
