Color Requirements :

We dont have our minds made up totally on colors. Ideally I'd like a simple design where the colour can be changed depending on the marketing material it is used on.

This is more than likely going to be the color scheme of our site:

General Requirements :

We are setting up a business and website called First Electric Gates. We are going to be suppling electric gate automation equipment, motors, swing arms, intercom systems and remotes etc...

I want a simple construction style logo. Our target market is the male building trade.

Here are some examples of logos I like the look of to maybe give some ideas.

Concepts are good. The fonts dont look nice though their not very sharp and professional.

Maybe the 3rd one, all the circles could be the same size I don't like the step down effect going on there.

The spacing between the letters should be equal and the font at the bottom doesn't look like a professional company font. It looks not far off comic sans or some kind of funky celtic style.
