      | 5DI.com Sells For $21,000 Source: DotWeekly 5DI.com (5di.com) has been sold at Sedo for $21,000 USD. The domain was owned by Frank Schilling and the new owner according to whois is Beniot Cornet. The email address is Alterface.com and the header image on that site states "" 5DI Interactive Cinema" which links to this 5DI theaters. Pretty sweet looking! 3 character domain names like 5di.com often sell for a range from a couple hundred dollars to normally a couple thousand dollars. Clearly in this case, they can sell for up to $21K as well. Frank doesn’t "need" to sell and his offering price is often in the $xx,xxx price range and up and I think this was a situation where the right buyer came along and was willing to meet the offering price. I look back at many domain names I sold for $xxx and $x,xxx and really wish I had a lot of them back. | wow! great sale, congrats to the seller. CCC's are almost always hit or miss, but this time the right end user came up.
