Hi all,

i was wondering what you guys think about 3 letter country domain names? I think about investing in them but i am not really sure if i should go down that road?

What are your thoughts about that? Or does any of you have experience with that market?

Thanks,

Gerold

It depends on the country and the size of the market.
In .nl or .de for example they are all taken and worth at least low €€€ normally.

In the case of .at since you seem to be from Austria, I believe there are plenty still unregistered.

I would look at acronyms that could be used by local companies, for example let's say you want to buy LLL.at, I would choose letters that have reasonable frequency in the German language. A name like xyz.at will always be a tough sell...

Thanks for your opinion. Unfortunately all premium 3 letter .at domains are taken, who would have thought :-)
