Would you register these expiring domains?

The following domains are being dropped tomorrow. I do not really like them and do not plan to register them, but their Estibot appraisal value is in the $X,XXX. Would you pick them up? In your opinion, are they worth the said appraisal value?

42-4.COM
45-4.COM
41-4.COM
38-3.COM
EZ-F.COM

These names are junk, I'm sure you can find plenty of similar domains still available. They have zero meaning, ask yourself what one could do with them in practice.

Plus the real question is why would anyone buy them in the first place?

You apparently have not read my question. I clearly stated that I have no intention of acquiring them and just have some concerns about their Estibot valuation and how much interest they arise in other domainers.

I'm not a big fan of dashed domains (unless one knowns non-hyphenated version) although it can be decent if related to a specific product.... EZ-F is the only half decent one there, but I generally don't bother at all with hyphens...

Just my $0.02.

Then you ask yourself :"Does the name sound any good ?".
A: Nope

And then you check what the previous owner tried todo with it. Wich reveals several parking services. So my guess the previous owner wasn't able to sell the the domains in the last 4 years.

So personally i would not register these domains.

They have no value IMHO
Estibot say them as $XXXX because its like Google
Follows a certain algorythem

Type this on Google - B-oy & Boy, both get same search results
I think same apply to estibot
Maybe im correct, maybe im not. Just my 2 cent opinion

BladeMaster is at least partially correct. There is definitely a bug in my algorithm. These domains should not get such high valuations. The SLD is interpreted wrong by Estibot and the valuations are all over the place.

I'll add it to the task list to fix the sub-algorithm for short hyphenated domain names. Should be a fairly easy fix because it's a specific type of domain name. The task list is pretty long, though

Thanx Esti, So far estibot.com is my most trusted bot appraiser. It will not give you the exact value of the domain. But with the info it provide (Past sales, Keyword Search, etc) we can figure out the price. Good Luck

The only domain that I'd think which may give some value over time is EZ-F.com and the rest is full of junks, it makes no meaning whatsoever.

That perfectly illustrates one of the biggest dangers with these domains - just because one person can think of a possible explanation of what it means the same does not apply to others.
