Just like the stock market, spread rumors to lower the price, then buy the stock and sell high. Or don't invest in a certain technology to keep competitors out. In sum its about "profit" and keeping "competitors" down/out.

 | It was probably them that low balled me today at GDaddy on one of my best LLLL.com .............or else it was one of you NP's tight asses!  And no sooner do i post this i get another counter up to the amazing amount of $45 from $40, on a highly attractive quad premium worth at least mid XXX.
