![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Take the money and run or take the offer immediately - these are very popular responds to this kind of question. I think the question you should be asking yourself is...who's buying this domain or what this domain can be use for? I'm not going to deny that this isn't a good offer because it is. The buyer is more than likely an end user (i don't think domainer will pay that amount unless he/she have a buyer for it). Noticed that .net and .org were recently regged? And both were regged at GD (a typical end user's registrar) by the same person? It looks to me that he's securing the brand (or the acronym ) already but I could be wrong. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/short-domain-discussion/637690-is-350-good-offer-utsy-com.html Now, that you asked and the buyer do a little research it will take him to this thread. It's going to be a little harder to negotiate now knowing $350 is a good offer. Whenever I get an offer I always managed to get a little more from initial offer but I always counter wisely.

![]() ![]() ![]() | i agree in xman's point, if some one recently registered the .net and .org ( same person ) , and offered $350 for .com , that means he is securing the brand, if you can try to dig a little more about him, $350 is a good price for this name but if you can try squeezing more out of him i guess |

![]() | Dont you think he can get a little more than that out of it? Doing whois search shows one guy owns both the .net and .org of this name. If he (assuming it's the same guy, some research can probably figure this out) really wants the .gold, i mean .com version of it, then I think he'd want it for more than even $350...why not double the offer? Then again, I'm new at all this... ---------- Post added at 08:30 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:29 AM ---------- ha, sorry. what I just said was gafadi's point above.. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Could be good to know how you recieved the offer? Was it at sedo or via email. If sedo does the bidder have any history. If email does it come from a greylist email such as gmail yahoo or is it from a company. If you need the money take it, and then you wont loose the sale. Its not a bad price for a LLLL.com like it, when compared to reseller prices. However I tend to agree with Xman. If someone contacts you out of the blue with a 350 offer. I'd be tempted to think they have put some thought into offering you a reasonable price in the hope you will bite first time. If this is the case, I personally would think they would not have offered there max price for the initial offer. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=637690 I'd hope you could make it up to at least $500. BTW is it you that has registered the .net and .org? Good Luck

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | When they start to send out 4 figures offers then you can decide to remain quiet or negotiate. Remain quiet to target the 5 figures or a possibility being greedy and loose any possible sale whatsoever. ![]() ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=637690 Personally I would be silent till it goes to min 4 figures and keep a close watch with the other ext developments. |

![]() ![]() | Negotiate my friend. If they are willing to offer you $350 at their starting offer, I would see how much they would be willing to spend for the domain. Say that someone offered you more.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | depends on your financial circumstances, if you really need the cash close the deal, if the possibility of blowing a sale doesn't bother you than counter, I'm not much of a brandable domainer but the name does flow and I never take a first offer, knowing if this is an end user or domainer helps as well in negotiations.
