1000 Llll

an eBay auction for 1,000 LLLL domains priced collectively at $30/each.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ksid=p3907.m31

Item number: 290279780630

lol - declining LLLL values, with little to no cpc revenue, and an $8K annual renewal fee.

I wonder if he'll renew or drop them

It's really difficult to sell the low quality ones in bulk at a reasonable price. It's always required taking a sharp reduction in price, however lately there just aren't many people who want an $8000/year liability. He'd have a much better chance of getting them sold if:

1) he dropped the price by 75-80%
2) broke it up into 100 LLLL.com (or smaller) lots

Great to see that for the first time!

The expiry date is near(February-March) on all.

If the item doesnot sell, then we will have a huge party of dropped LLLL.

Cheers

If you want to sell them fast and in bulk then place a price below market. Not above! And currently his price is greatly above market price. Even though some single names are worth more than 30$ in general this lot must be sold for much less.

if he had that lot at no reserve, i think it would end up around $1500. there are just too many poor names there. reece is right - selling low quality names in bulk will likely produce poor results.

I sent an email offering some money for one of his domains - but the first one bounced and no reply on the 2nd.

Sell 30% of them to renew the rest. This will be the better solution than to drop
