![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I certainly wish the best to those selling those names. There are some prime LLL domains for sale here. I do, however, truly wonder why Sedo/Greatdomains doesn't stagger these auctions. It absolutely baffles me. When you have dozens of similar names that end at the exact same time, you greatly inhibit interested buyers from making last second bids on multiple auctions. At best, an interested buyer may be able to pay very close attention to 1 or 2 auctions. It might stand to reason that if the auctions were staggered, even by just a few minutes each, they would allow interested parties of multiple domains a chance to bid on multiple auctions and watch these many auctions closely, --> and thus likely bringing better prices to the sellers (and larger commissions to Sedo/Greatdomains). As it stands right now, however, many names do sell very cheaply in this format and it's a bargain finders paradise. This said, I still can't figure out what drives sellers to choose this sale method over a standard auction or a direct sale (which would be without large commission fees). ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/short-domain-discussion/539646-lots-of-lll-com-sedo-auctions.html Greatdomains auctions are a fine concept, but one simple change could make them such a stronger format for selling domains. Just $.02, zesty

I suspect we are going to see a new low for LLL.com between $3,500 and $4,000 (no need to point out it may already be below $4,000). Hopefully some of the sellers have put a reserve on them - BUT im to lazy to check! Can not think of a worse time to flood the market with 22 LLL.coms in the middle of the fastest economic contraction since 1929. The only silver lining this may mark the bottom, get the toxic waste out, get them low and see if we can get some positivity back - the worlds being taken over by the doomsday people, they have had their day, they are feeling nice and warm and content to watch assets crash all around but after every crash there is a sharp swing up even after as little as 5 years. | ||||
