What's the value of "Abbbb [. ]com" for example"?

I would like to hear some opinions on the value of 5 letter dot coms that contain the same letter in the last four positions i.e. abbbb[. ]com or zyyyy[. ]com.

What are the values for the very best and the worst of these?

Best wishes,
Kimmy

I sold OOOAO for high XX last month. I was told that it was probably worth $125 to the right buyer. I have no idea the value of 5L's like that with consonants. Are you bidding on one at Snap right now ?

good luck, gary-

They sold out in I believe late February 2008. I haven't seen anything to suggest the lower quality combinations are worth more than regfee at present.

Here is an email from someone I asked about these before I sold. He has sold many so thats why I asked him. But they are not about ABBBB etc.
----------------------------
These are the rarest of rare 5L.coms. vvvv.com go for prices comparable to cvcv.com

I've seen a few going for $90 ea (of the type i'm selling, yours is better) in NP regular auctions.

oooeo.com is only one of 125 such combos possible out of 12 million 5ls... rarity value itself makes it worth $100 min. maybe much more.
----------------------------

Last time I did a scan NANNN was available but I didn't reg it.

good luck, gary-

I've been watching the drops for these during the last few months. I've noticed that all premium examples of ABBBB and AAAAB type .com domains tend to get picked up quickly by catchers. I have a couple of these myself as they are easy to flip for a small profit. Names containing other letters but without V take a little longer to get picked up. Names with V can take days (or weeks) to go. V is the worst letter IMO in these names. These domains are popular in the asian market and V is often a bad letter for them.

These ones with V are available right now for anyone that's interested:

MVVVV.COM
CCCCV.COM
XXXXV.COM

Those last 3 were picked up very quickly.

The dynamics of this market have changed somewhat over the last couple of weeks. More names are dropping and less are being picked up. There are a few all premium examples available for reg. fee, including:

PPPPA.COM
SRRRR.COM

These kind of names are extremely speculative. There are very few companies which have 5 letter acronyms, nor are there many acronyms at all which are 5 letters long.

"Rare" is fine and dandy, however "rare" isn't enough in a recession imho. The only buyers are other domainers and most domainers aren't spending on token domains like this at present.

its more to rare value I suppose. Haven't seen any real strong end user sale. Seems like value among us at mid $xx to low $xxx

Mid $xx to low $xxx is very optimistic IMO in current market conditions. I would register them all for quick flips if I thought these prices could be easily achieved. I've sold a few all premiums in the past for $15 each. I'm not sure I could even get that at the moment.

I wonder: what can the ABBBB.com mean? Just a beautiful looking? I wouldn't pay more than reg fee for this stuff.
