LLLL.COM Price

This might be stupid question but will LLLL.com cost more in a few eyars than they do now? Because they will be harder to find? Or will the price stay the same. I am wondering whether or not to invest in one. . .

Thanks for the help.

They are not harder to find. They are unavailable.

So yes their cost will increase. But how much? That I can't say

Now is probably the best time to buy LLLL.com. You may wanna check out the "Short Domain Section" and peruse the 'LLLL.com Sales report thread' which is active daily. You will learn a good deal about them there.

I agree with most people that now is the time to buy. I believe that several people on this forum expect a rise in prices come next Jan-Feb but after that, no one is certain.

It makes sense to me that prices will increase as the pool of available LLLL.com's decrease...

LLLL.coms are a good investment. My advice is to buy the better, more expensive ones, like Quad Premiums or pronounceables.

The worst quality LLLL .com go for $20-$25 right now. There's a big price gap between poor quality LLLL .com and high-quality LLLL .com. The higher quality names are always rising, while the J-K-Q-W-X-Y-Z names will probably be hovering around $25 for quite some time.

It's just another case of demand vs supply. In this case the supply is always diminishing as many domains reach end-user hands, and there are a limited number of LLLL domains. The demand will keep growing in the following years as many new users, particularly from developing countries, have access to internet. So, I think it's a pretty safe bet that these domains will increase in value, though no one really know by how much.

i think coming few mth there will be a lot ppl selling the last 10% of LLLL.com regged just before the buyout.at maybe $20-25 each coz they dont wanna renew it.,Nomatter how if they handreg it its still a quick profit.
Good time to buy ,bad time to sell..
Maybe hold a few more years and we will see the price go up stable ly

Thanks, I just bought one UYFN.com going to see if I can get any good offers now. Will probably wait a year before I put it up on the market again.

Good advice though, thanks.

My recommendation is to visit Reece's blog - 4LetterNoob.com, and hang around this forum on a daily basis... You'll start to see the trends and will be able to decide confidently as opposed to just "diving right in".

If you're just starting out... be absolutely aware of CURRENT market pricing before buying.

Some good parameters of LLLL.com quality are -
1. Pronounceability
2. Search Results
3. Acronyms (Applicability to multiple end users)
at least one is required, along with the regular 'premium letter' nonsense if your target market is domainers.

LLLL.COMs are real easy to evaluate by domainer standards, not so easily to value by end user potential.

I've finally paid for all my renewals. This is a very painful time for many LLLL.com owners because we're all torn between the dilemma of whether to sell or to renew.

I really hope renewing my LLLLs was the right choice.

Renewing them it good choice.

I hear you. Howerver, I strongly believe renewing the domains is the best choice. Look at it, it doesn't matter what price the LLLL is, there are people out there to buy it. The bottom has been set, from now on, its just an upwards trend.

How many search results would be considered a good one? I'm consiering buying a domain for around $300.

If you have been in the market long enough you will know when is the right time to buy and sell. If you are new to the market then expect to make mistakes, to limit yourself from making major mistakes then try not to buy expensive domains right away otherwise you might end up leaving the domain game right away.

I made my mistakes and bought about 10 or so crap LLLL.com's about 6-8 months ago at expensive prices. Now I am trying to refine my portfolio and add value to it, taking out the bad domains and bringing in new high quality domains. I am not really in it for the short term unless something happens and I really need to cash out. With a good LLLL.com portfolio there should be enough good chances to advance forward and make a good profit in about 1 or 2 years. Even though there is no guarantee of this happening, I believe there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Go to Snapnames, you can buy LLLL.coms starting at 9$, and some would close at just 12$.

Decent readable LLLL.coms would close at 20$ to 30$, which would have cost 100$ or more, one year ago.
